In the basement of the manor, Ari rummaged through items and alerted 3 Red Brands who attacked us
We find a room full of 3 sarcophagi and a ring. We fight off skeletons and find 2 caged women and a child. One of them is Thel’s wife, Merna. The women and children run off back to town. We took a long rest in the cave. Ari and Caulkin chat and we discover that Caulkin loses something important at 8. We continued on and found a room full of weapons where some members of the team gathered new items. We find a secret room with a bridge over a dark pit. We all hear voices in our heads saying:
“This one steps into the darkness first. Better not let those who you love down.” - Glittr’s Voice in his head
“This one resists me. That’ll be a fun toy to play with.” - Ari’s Voice
“Wooo, this one is blue. This one has been abandoned” - Yrdlyn’s voice
“Whooooo, another one that's so strong. I cannot wait to test out what you can do” - Pearl’s voice
“Ahhh, finally one that is not strong enough to resist. How long will you hide for little one?” - Caulkin’s voice
“I cannot wait to see what you all bring for me. I cannot wait to feast upon all of you.” - All of us hear this
The mind control creature is killed, Yrdlyn is revived. Ari finds a half-eaten adult male’s body at the bottom of the pit. Pearl recognized the deep cold in the pit as necrotic magic. We venture on and find a room full of Bugbears and Yrdlyn screams at them.
We venture into Tredsendar’s Manor and rescue children and women who have been captured by the Red Capes
We are bombarded by voices in our heads who have a haunting message for each of us
We have our first run-in with necrotic magic
